  • Harsh Ride: Low profile tires provide a much harsher ride due to smaller side walls, leaving less space between your vehicle and the road, increasing stress on suspension.

  • Faster Wear of Tires & Damage to the wheels: Low profile tires provide little protection between you and the road. Driving down the wrong Dallas road will leave you needing a tow or mobile tire service.

  • Cost: Low profile tires tend to be drastically more expensive than your traditional tire.

  • Availability: Many stores do not keep many low profile tires on hand if you find yourself in an emergency and in need of another in a hurry. It is very common that even the biggest tire chains will have to order the tire, taking a day or two to receive it.
